AMC Upfront

For their 2023 Upfront presentation, AMC hosted an in-person event with between 200 to 250 attendees at Jazz at Lincoln Center on Tuesday, April 18. The Upfront was designed to align with the brand’s vision for the most innovative and future-facing upfront in industry history and showcase a presentation that reflects the premium quality of their programming.

AMC are rightly proud of a hugely diverse cast of characters so it made sense that they feature prominently in the Upfront. Beautiful studio photography was minimally treated and arranged in a variety of clean and split compositions.

The tagline "Everything to Someone" reflects the breadth of programming and a diverse cast. A multi-font, multi-weight typographic treatment reinforces the depth and inclusivity of the message.

Initial Design Sketches

This alternate direction involved a more layered approach with glass panels interacting with talent images creating interesting optical effects. It was deemed that a cleaner approach was more suitable for the project
