‘Evolution of the Black Quarterback’ is a three-part Prime Video docuseries that follows retired NFL Pro Bowl quarterback Michael Vick as he travels across America to explore the history and impact of Black quarterbacks on and off the field. The original series pays homage to the rich history, celebrates the progress, and sets its sights on the future of the QB position.
The opening sequence draws inspiration from the environment in which the story takes places as well as the public mood surrounding the murder. Sweeping vistas of Køge Bay give way to underwater shots that become increasing claustrophobic. Elements of Kim's life and work sink to the depths.
This alternate title treatment is inspired by a quote that likens Peter Madsen to a dark ink like liquid consuming the city of Copenhagen.
